WinX Video Converter is a software with a title that pretty much explains its functionality - it allows you to encode video files. It supports several extensions, including AVI, MPEG, MP4, WMV, MOV, FLV and music.
The interface of the application is very plain and simple to navigate through. Media can be imported into the queue via the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported (but batch processing is permitted).
In the list you can view the name, information, duration and output of each clip. After you specify the destination folder and extension, you can initiate the conversion process. Plus, you can take snapshots and trim videos by marking the start and end time after previewing them.
In addition, you can modify audio and video preferences when it comes to the format, quality, sample frequency rate, channels, volume, frame rate, size and others.
During the conversion process, you can check out the current clip, destination name, start and stop time, current time and frame, duration and frames per seconds, along with a progress bar. Also, you can enable WinX Video Converter to turn off the computer or to open the output folder when it's done encoding.
The simple-to-use tool requires a high amount of system resources and quickly completes an encoding job without freezing or displaying errors. It also manages to maintain a very good image and sound quality. We highly recommend WinX Video Converter to all users.
