Any DVD Cloner Platinum is an application that you can use to backup your DVDs. But you can also convert them to other formats supported by iPads, iPhones and others.
The interface of the program is plain and easy to navigate through. You can import a DVD from disc, hard drive or image by using the treeview or file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported.
In the list you can check out the title, time and description of the DVD. So, all you have to do is specify the output destination and format (in case of DVD conversion), in order to initiate the ripping process.
Furthermore, you can rip the full disc or main movie, select individual DVD chapters for processing, as well as choose the open method (e.g. highly enhanced) and target size.
When it comes to DVD conversions, you can select the output format (e.g. MP4, M4V, MKV) along with audio stream, subpicture stream and angle, as well as configure start and end settings plus audio and video preferences (e.g. codec, frame rate, size, sample frequency rate, bit rate).
The DVD processing tool requires a low amount of system resources, has a good response time, includes a well-written help file with snapshots, quickly finishes a task and manages to keep a very good image and sound quality. We haven't come across any issues during our tests. Putting aside the fact that you cannot change program settings, we strongly recommend Any DVD Cloner Platinum to all users.
