The My Study Tree application was designed to provide an effective approach to learning. Students gain the benefits of customized study materials that are tailored to their own specific learning styles and “evolve” as they better understand the subjects being studied. My Study Tree is user friendly. Students do not need advanced computer skills to take advantage of these powerful study tools.
Students learn differently. Some are primarily visual learners while others are more auditory. Some students are new to a subject while others already know the basics. To be effective, study materials need to be personalized to each student's individual learning style and level of knowledge.
Study tools should also "evolve" with a student's level of knowledge. They should direct the student to those areas in most need of review, while fading out the materials already mastered.
Textbooks, class notes, and published outlines or flash cards are GENERIC and STATIC. They are designed for use by students of all different learning styles and abilities, and they do not change as the student learns.
My Study Tree is a powerful set of tools that helps students quickly create, review, and modify study materials that are tailored to their own individual needs and that change with their level of knowledge.
Taking advantage of audio, visual, multi-media, and speech-to-text technologies, students build and use materials that are PERSONALIZED and DYNAMIC. As items of knowledge are mastered, they can easily be hidden or removed. If another item continues to be difficult, it can be revised or replaced quickly and easily.
IMPORTANT: Speech-To-Text Features Require MS Office 2003. You must have a microphone and speakers to use all features.
Limitations:
· This TRIAL VERSION does not allow you to save your work. Because of this, a few utilities are not available.
