SmartPower 1.5.3 description

SmartPower is a lightweight application that enables you to turn off your computer or put in hibernate mode according to set rules.
SmartPower also has configurable rules that describe conditions under which the computer must stay on.
Every 60 seconds, SmartPower evaluates the active rules and monitors the relevant activity on the computer (CPU usage, network usage, etc).
If none of the conditions within the rules are being met then SmartPower increments a counter by one. Once the counter exceeds the grace time the computer is turned off. If any of the conditions within the rules are being met then the counter is reset.
NOTE: SmartPower is free for personal use only. If you would like to use SmartPower in a commercial setting then you must purchase a commercial license.

What's New in This Release:
· In Vista onwards, the configuration utility now checks (and allows users to change) the three essential settings within the active Windows power plan: sleep timeout, unattended sleep timeout, wake timers. For Windows XP (or server equivalent), the configuration utility warns about sleep timeout.
