Portable NetSetMan is a powerful network settings manager that lets you switch between multiple network profiles with just a single click.
Especially useful to those who connect to multiple networks using just a single computer or laptop, Portable NetSetMan provides up to six different network profiles, each fully customizable from the main window of the app.
Of course, you can configure settings for every single profile, so you can write down IP, subnet mask, default gateway and DNS servers, or obtain all addresses automatically, but also WINS server, WiFi information, printer, adapter status, PC name, workgroup and DNS domain.
If you use multiple network adapters, Portable NetSetMan lets you pick the one you wish to use for every single profile.
Another good thing about Portable NetSetMan is the fact that it places an icon in the System Tray, letting you switch from one network profile to another quick and easy.
Not to mention that the program is fully portable, which means it can be safely copied on a removable drive, be it a USB flash drive or an external hard disk, to be loaded wherever you go.
Portable NetSetMan needs just a minimum amount of computer resources and works flawlessly on all Windows versions out there. Still, Windows 7 users need administrator privileges to allow the app to make changes to network settings.
Overall, Portable NetSetMan is a very useful application that provides a very easy to use interface and powerful network settings manager utilities for free.
