TCC/LE 13.04.63 description
TCC/LE is a powerful software solution designed to replace the traditional Command Prompt tool integrated into Windows, providing many more utilities than this particular standard application.
The look is almost identical with the one boasted by the popular Command Prompt, only that TCC/LE relies on enhanced utilities designed to ease the work of users.
Not only that you can copy, move or delete multiple files at once with just a single command, but TCC/LE also sports a more advanced command line editor, with support for history and file completion.
Thanks to this set of features, it's enough to type the first letters of a folder you wish to browse or a file to open and press “Tab”, with TCC/LE automatically completing the available file name.
Additionally, the program also lets you access past commands and, what's more, it gives you the power to exclude or select a number of files based on parameters such as date, time or size.
Obviously, since it's just a replacement for Command Prompt, TCC/LE is not a resource hog, but instead it runs on low resources all the time and works without a glitch on all Windows versions.
More importantly, TCC/LE has absolutely no problem to run on Windows 7, without even asking for administrator privileges to work properly.
Overall, TCC/LE is clearly a great alternative to Command Prompt, relying on the same basic look, but with a richer set of features designed to target all types of users.
What's New in This Release:
· VIEW - The menus and dialogs are now available in English, French, Russian, and Spanish. The first time you run VIEW, it will set the language to the one defined in TCMD.INI. If you want to change it, you can select a language by starting VIEW, and selecting Tools / Preferences from the menu.
· Updated all of the Internet libraries (ip*.dll).
