WebSite X5 Evolution is a software that allows you to create, configure and publish websites in just a few simple steps.
The user interface of the program is clean and simple. Even novices should have an easy time getting around WebSite X5 Evolution.
So, you can configure general settings - website title, author, URL, description, keyword, icon and content language.
If you switch from "basic" to "export" mode, you can enter a code to customize your website header, metatag code for Google Webmaster Tools verification, code for website statistics, as well as enable HTML code protection and to automatically create a site map.
Furthermore, you can choose the menu type (vertical or horizontal), template style (e.g. "Soft Lines", "Leaves and Stripes", "Like Fire", "Abstract 3D", custom), as well as edit the template graphic (e.g. image file, effect type, diffusion, offset x and y, position and size).
In the next steps, you can plan your website by creating a map, create pages with objects (e.g. text, image, table, Flash animation, video and sound, slideshow, email form, product list) and configure advanced settings when it comes to the main menu, drop down menu, sub menu, text style, welcome page, advertising center, blog, RSS feed, reserved area and shopping cart.
Once your website is complete, you can publish it online, export it to disk or optimize and batch it to a folder.
The program takes up a low-to-moderate amount of system resources and includes a well-drawn help file with tutorials and snapshots. No problems have occurred during our tests.
However, the demo version doesn't let you export your project, which is a huge disadvantage. Otherwise, we strongly recommend WebSite X5 Evolution to all users.
