SplitMovie [DISCOUNT67% OFF!] 2 description
SplitMovie is a program with a pretty self-explanatory title - it allows you to split video files of various extensions, including AVI, ASF, MPG, WMV and 3GP.
The interface of the application is plain and simple. You can import a video by using the file browser only, since the "drag and drop" method is not supported (and neither is batch processing).
So, you can preview the clip and trim it manually by marking the start and end point, as well as split it automatically (limit by size or time, split into equal parts).
All you have to do is specify the output directory and optionally enable SplitMovie to overwrite existing files. Plus, you can convert videos to other formats, such as AVI, MPEG, RM and WMV.
Furthermore, you can save the current frame, view information, go to the first, last, previous or next frame, disable sound, enable repeat mode, switch to full screen, and more.
The simple-to-use program needs a moderate amount of system resources, supports keyboard shortcuts, includes a comprehensive help file with snapshots for rookies and quickly trims clips. No errors have occurred during our tests and SplitMovie did not freeze or crash. The image and sound have a good quality, whether we're talking about trimming or encoding.
Unfortunately, the unregistered version displays a watermark on the videos. But, other than that, we strongly recommend SplitMovie to users of any experience level.
