Final Uninstaller is a software that aims to help you remove programs and their leftovers from your computer.
The user interface of the tool is clean and intuitive. You can get started by performing a scan on your computer for installed programs and remnants.
Once the scanning is complete, you can check out the number of programs, application and database version and support software.
But you can also view the name, description, rank, install date, publisher and type of each software.
Before removing a program, you can view its details which revolve around registry and file information. Once you have selected the "Uninstall" option, Final Uninstaller takes care of the rest.
In the "Advance" section you can turn on automatic cleaning mode (i.e. enable to run "Junk Files Monitor" at system startup) or run a manual cleaning process when it comes to junk files or the registry.
So, you can empty Recycle Bin, as well as look for junk files in memory dumps, system invalid and temporary files, Windows error reporting and Windows log files.
The "Registry Cleaner" takes care of unused file extensions, missing shared DLLs and TypeLib references, open with application errors, invalid default ICO and application paths, and others. Furthermore, you can perform a disk defrag, recover uninstalled remnants and registry, find duplicated files, and more.
The program uses a very low amount of system resources. No errors have popped up during our tests. But we weren't able to access the help file. Also, the demo version is severely restricted.
The biggest problem is that Final Uninstaller allows you to remove up to three programs. Also, you cannot generate a report or fix invalid registry entries.
Since the demo has these limitations, we cannot accurately evaluate Final Uninstaller. As far as our tests went, the program is very good. But we can never be too sure.
Limitations:
· The unregistered version of the program will only scan for installed programs. It does not remove them. To remove them you must register.
What's New in This Release:
· Launch new plug-in Disk Defragmenter;
· Add auto-update support for Disk Defragmenter;
· Use a redesigned Final Uninstaller user interface.
