DriverAgent is a simplistic program that can detect outdated drivers on your computer system and bring them up to speed. It can be easily handled, even by less experienced individuals.
Upon program initialization, DriverAgent automatically performs a scan job on your computer and opens a page in your default web browser. So, the tool does not come with an actual interface.
The displayed results consist of a pie chart with the total number of 'good' and 'bad' drivers, along with their name and download availability for the latest versions.
This list can be printed. Drivers can be downloaded individually or in bulk mode, while the scan legend offers explanations about the 'Good', 'Bad', 'Download' and 'Disconnected' statuses.
Furthermore, you can view a list of installed software and find out which programs are outdated. Similar to the list of drivers, DriverAgent allows you to download the latest version of each app.
The tool quickly finishes a scan job, supports multiple languages and puts little strain on the computer's resources. We have not come across any issues throughout our testing; DriverAgent did not freeze, crash or pop up error dialogs. All in all, this program provides straightforward solutions related to driver and software updates, so it is worth taking into consideration.
