Easy DVD Creator is an easy to use software tool designed to help you convert the most popular video formats to DVDs and thus watch them on a stand-alone DVD player.
While the interface is not the best we've seen into this kind of application, it's a good thing that it makes the whole conversion task a breeze, providing intuitive menus and tools.
There's no other configuration screen available, just a bunch of settings displayed right in the main window.
The program can work with AVI/DIVX/XVID/DIV, MPEG/MPG/DAT, WMV/ASF/ASX, RM/RMVB, MOV/QT, 3GP/3G2, MP4/M4V, and FLV formats, letting you to either convert a video to DVD or burn a previously saved project to a blank DVD disc.
As said, the only settings are displayed in the only window of the app, so you can choose between PAL and NTSC formats, pick the aspect ratio, which can be either 4:3 or 16:9, select the DVD recorder and the temporary folder and write down the DVD label you want to use.
Additionally, Easy DVD Creator also comprises a small preview screen that lets you watch the clips to be processed without opening an external video player.
The conversion process goes fast, with a moderate to high amount of resources needed in the process.
All in all, Easy DVD Creator is an efficient piece of software that serves its purpose very well, while being able to create DVDs on any Windows flavor currently available.
