Autorun Maestro is a feature-packed program that you can use to create and design autorun menus for your CDs and DVDs. It is oriented towards users of any level of experience.
The interface of the application is complex and professional-looking. However, beginner users may use wizards to easily finish a simple task, as part of the whole project.
So, you can get started by creating a new menu - add captions, set the menu's position on the screen, establish the animation rate, choose the transparency color, and insert a background image, just to name a few.
When adding buttons to the menu, whether they are graphical, windows or text, you can set up execution via button commands or command-line arguments (to be inputted by power users), write a description, mention a necessary viewer, as well as define the button position.
Other features of Autorun Maestro let you edit object properties, choose the screen position, hide the time and date, set an expiration date, retrieve controls which have become lost, and pick the grid size, among others. Once all adjustments are made in the project, you can save it to file for further processing, or export it to an autorun executable file.
The feature-rich program requires a moderate quantity of CPU and system memory, has a good response time, supports keyboard shortcuts, and is backed by user documentation. No error dialogs have been shown in our evaluation and the app did not hang or crash. Unfortunately, no recent updates have been made to Autorun Maestro.
