SpiderOak is a simple to use application that enables you to backup, synchronize, share, view and restore personal files using an online server that you can access from any device connected to the Internet.
The SpiderOak servers function on a "Zero-Knowledge" approach. This means that all your data is private and readable only to you.
Using SpiderOak, you create your password on your own computer and not on a web form received by SpiderOak servers. Once created, a strong key derivation function is used to generate encryption keys using that password, and no trace of your original password is ever uploaded to SpiderOak with your stored data.
Limitations:
· The storage space is limited to 2 Gigabytes.
