RJ TextEd is a professional Unicode text and source code editor that comes packed with syntax highlighting options, auto completion mode, syntax editor, web browser, file manager, CSS editor, and support for HTML, ASP and PHP code.
Although it comprises many dedicated parameters, the user interface is clean and straightforward. You can easily switch between windows for navigating or viewing files and folders.
RJ TextEd offers support for a wide range of programming languages, such as C++, C#, Java, Pascal and PHP, as well as for Unicode and ASCII.
The application gives users the possibility to work with multiple documents at the same time, and use different editing tools, namely cut, copy, paste, or delete, highlight words, as well as insert symbols and extended, ASCII and currency characters.
Plus, you can create a list with favorite files, perform searches throughout the entire database, undo unnecessary adjustments, find and replace words, record macros, and activate the spell checking function for the preferred programming language (e.g. Pearl, HTML, XML, CSS).
Other important features worth mentioning enable users to preview the files in web browsers (e.g. Firefox, Chrome), or File Commander, directly from the primary panel, insert external files and HTML tags, use a syntax editor and expression evaluator, switch to a full screen model, and use the conversion of file encoding methods.
When it comes to file management operations, you can change file attributes, copy, move, delete, or duplicate files, as well as create ZIP archives by picking the compression level and adding passwords. Plus, it is possible to decompress files, upload them to FTP servers, and synchronize folders.
The generated project can be saved to RTF, xHTML or an encrypted file, sent via email, uploaded via FTP, or printed.
All in all, RJ TextEd bundles a complete suite of tools for editing text and source code. What's New in This Release:
Extensions:
· You can now create and add extensions to the program. The extension is executed at startup and closed with the program. The script language is the same as with normal scripts (Fast script).
· You create new extensions using the Quickbar (user script tab). From here you can also start and exit an extension to test it out during creation.
· There are some simple demos in the "RJ TextEdHelpDemosExtensions" folder. To install a demo extension use the import feature in Addons->Extensions.
Scripts and extensions:
· You can now access the main menu, tab controls in sidebar, bottombar and the quickbar, inside scripts. You can also access the program settings, e.g. to store extension settings.
· Added some new classes and worked on the auto completion.
Auto completion:
