The Live SDK contains the Live Connect APIs, which provide programmatic access to Live web services with a set of libraries that enables your apps to work with data in over 500 million user accounts in Windows Live ID, SkyDrive, Hotmail, and Windows Live Messenger.
The Windows Live Software Development Kit (SDK) package includes OAUTH WRAP Handler to develop ASP.NET applications that interact with Windows Live.

What's New in This Release:
Live SDK update:
· The Live SDK v5.4 for Windows supports apps built with Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 Preview to run on Windows 8.1 Preview.
· Sign-in with Windows 8.1 Preview: Calling WL.login in JavaScript or LiveAuthClient.LoginAsync in C# in a non-connected user account will trigger the flow of connecting the current user account with a Microsoft account. Once that happens, the current account will become connected. The user can only disconnect the Microsoft account through the PC's settings.
· Sign-out on Windows Phone: Fixed the issue that LiveAuthClient.Logout method cannot clear the user session so that the user will not be prompted to type in credential when sign-in is invoked again.
REST API:
· The Activity object is deprecated.
