JACOB 1.16.1 / 1.17-M4 description

JACOB is actually short for JAVA-COM Bridge and is built in order to allow you to call COM Automation components from Java.
It uses JNI to make native calls to the COM libraries. JACOB runs on x86 and x64 environments supporting 32 bit and 64 bit JVMs

Bugs:
· JacobVersion.properties accidentally omitted from JAR. Must build from command line to get it included.
· Fix memory pointer that was 32 bit. Causes defects in 64 bit systems above 2GB 115
· Release problem if you've got two threads with the same name
· m_pDispatch is not 0 if not attached
· NullPointerException injacob-1.17-M2
