Process Lasso is a unique new technology that will improve your PC's responsiveness and stability during periods of high CPU load. Windows, by design, allows programs to monopolize your CPU without restraint -- leading to freezes, hangs, and micro-lags.
Process Lasso's ProBalance (Process Balance) technology intelligently adjusts the priorities of running programs so that badly behaved processes won't negatively impact the responsiveness of your PC.
In addition, this application provides several ways for taking full control of how your CPUs will be allocated to running applications.
Limitations:
· After a few days, 'Nag' at startup after trial period, quick skip
· After 14 days, advanced features (show below) are disabled
· After 30 days, 'Nag' randomly every 1 of 4 times when you click the Process Lasso system tray, again quick skip nags

· GUI: Fix current 'Avoid non-physical cores' current CPU affinity was acting as persistent
· GUI: Fix 'exit core engine too?' message shown on GUI self-restart on elevation change
· Core Fix 'log power profile change events' not behaving as expected, nor had full coverage of all pertainent log events
· All: Fix Norton Internet Security's tamper detection triggering when Process Lasso merely looks at its processes
· CPUEater: Improvements to accuracy of responsiveness metric
· CPUEater: Rewrote 'Wall of Text' on CPU Eater
· GUI: Major improvements to accuracy of our unique PC responsiveness metric shown on graph
· GUI: Improved responsiveness of the GUI itself during unmitigated high loads
· GUI: Reset memory page priority when a persistent memory prioriy removed
· GUI: A few small optimizations
· GUI: Rename 'Configuration and Log' sub-menu to 'File'
