This is the portable edition of Personal Finance Free - a software application which brings forth a user-friendly environment for managing your budget digitally. It can be used by all people who want to keep track of their income and expenses.
Since installation is not a requirement, it is suffice to save the program files to any location on the hard drive, in order to run the EXE file directly.
Alternatively, you can move Personal Finance Free to a USB flash drive or similar removable device, so you can run it on any computer with minimum effort.
What's important to mention is that no leftovers remain on the hard drive or in the Windows Registry after removing the program.
Upon deployment you can set up the application configuration when it comes to the language, date format, decimal and thousand separators, first day of the week, font size and automatic backups.
You can create an empty database or copy the structure to a new database when it comes to accounts, currencies, categories and users, as well as establish the file name and location.
Adding a new transaction to the database means filling some fields when it comes to expenses, income and transfers, such as the amount, target amount, date, description, comment and exchange rate. Plus, you can view a history list, schedule transactions, as well as assign categories and family members.
Personal Finance Free is pretty light on the system resources, so it doesn't burden the computer's activity. It has a good response time to commands and works well, without causing the OS to hang, crash or display error notifications. All in all, Personal Finance Free delivers a simple solution to managing your budget on a virtual platform.
