As the name of this application suggests, PDF Combiner Portable allows you to merge PDF documents into one file. It can be easily used by individuals of any experience level.
Since installation is not required, you can place PDF Combiner Portable on a removable device (such as a USB flash drive), plug the tool into any computer and directly run the software's executable file.
But the most important part is that your Windows registry keys will not be affected in any way.
The interface of the application is clean and intuitive. PDF documents can be imported into the queue by using either the file browser or "drag and drop" method.
In the list you can check out the name, path, page range, total number of pages and size of each file. Once you press the "Combine PDFs" button, you can specify the output directory and filename, and proceed with the task.
In addition, you can move items up and down in the list, remove files from the queue and enable PDF Combiner Portable to open the newly created document.
The simple-to-use program takes up a moderate-to-high amount of system resources, has a good response time, quickly finishes a task and preserves the original quality regarding the text layout, shapes and images. We haven't encountered any errors during our tests.
On the other hand, there is no help file available. Although PDF Combiner Portable doesn't include any outstanding features, we recommend it to all users who are looking for a straightforward program.
