Portable FastStone Capture 7.6 description

This is the portable version of FastStone Capture, an application that enables to you take screenshots in several methods.
Since it is a portable software, installation is not necessary. You can simply place FastStone Capture on an external drive and run its executable file on any computer. Plus, there will be no changes made to your Windows registry items.
The app comes with a small interface that resembles a toolbar. So, you can capture the active window or an object.
But you can also capture the full screen, scrolling window, as well as a rectangular, freehand region or fixed region.
Furthermore, you can use a screen recording tool (for a window or object, rectangular area, full screen or full screen without the taskbar). In this case, you can configure options regarding the video (e.g. frame rate, record mouse pointer), audio (e.g. record mouse click sounds), the hotkey to stop recording and output files (e.g. file name template).
In addition, you can set the screenshot output directory to editor, clipboard, file, printer, email, Word, FTP and others, as well as enable auto caption, edge or watermark, and more.
The application runs on a barely noticeable amount of system resources, includes a comprehensive help file with images and didn't pop up any errors during our tests. Its response time is very good and we highly recommend Portable FastStone Capture to users of any experience level.

What's New in This Release:
· Added "Screen Crosshair". It displays two full-screen intersecting lines (crosshair) on the screen with a magnifier showing the details of the area around the mouse pointer. You may find it helpful to align screen objects, compare chart or tabular data and underline the text you are reading.
· Added "Join Images Side by Side". You can use it to combine multiple images into a single image file
· Added option "Show resizing handles on image borders" to the Settings (in Editor tab). By dragging the resizing handles, you can remove unwanted borders or add blank space to the image easily and precisely
· Added option "Copy captured image to Clipboard automatically" to the Settings (in Capture tab). Check this option if you want to send a copy of the captured image to Windows Clipboard automatically every time you make a screen capture
· Added a "Reset" button to the Settings window so you can reset your settings to their default values
