This is the portable version of Sleipnir, a web browser that mainly focuses on high levels of customization, from the design and skin to plugins and user scripts.
Since installation is not required, you can place Portable Sleipnir on an external device (like a USB flash drive), store it on any computer and directly run its executable file.
Thus, you can always have the web browser with you when you're on the go. Plus, the Windows registry is not modified in any way and no leftover items can be found after program removal.
The interface of the tool is based on a familiar and easy-to-use layout; Sleipnir supports multiple tabs. So, you can customize the appearance when it comes to the toolbar, taskbar, panel, tabs or tab groups.
But you can also reconfigure mouse aliases and gestures along with key binding and the security mode (e.g. enable JavaScript, Java and ActiveX), as well as remove all startup-associated file information and set the web browser to load multiple URLs by using Clipboard data.
Linking web browser data (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Dropbox) with your smartphone can be done by using Fenrir Pass, a cloud service. Plus, you can select the bookmark type (folder or label management), set the number of button counts to display search engines and toggle the default rendering engine between Webkit and Trident.
Sleipnir packs two powerful extensions - a password manager (RoboForm toolbar) and a plug-in that enables advanced "drag and drop" functions for online navigation (SuperDrag extension). Additionally, Sleipnir includes a feed reader and, with its help you can seamlessly import feeds from Google Reader.
The web browser requires a moderate-to-high amount of system CPU and memory, while offering user documentation and providing high-speed navigation over the Internet. Its wide range of customization options and security features make Portable Sleipnir a powerful tool in the web browsing community.
