This is the portable version of SeaMonkey, the Internet suite that comes bundled with a web browser, email support, newsgroups and chat. It can be easily handled, even by less experienced users.
Since installation is not required, you can store Portable SeaMonkey on a removable device (like a USB flash drive), save it to any computer and directly run its executable file.
Therefore, you can always have Portable SeaMonkey with you when you're on the go. Plus, the Windows registry does not receive new entries and no leftover items can be found after removing the program.
The interface of the app is clean and pretty intuitive. The web browser provides you with various interesting tools which manage cookies, images, popups, data, downloads, passwords and add-ons.
But you can also synchronize information, check out web development tools (error console, JavaScript debugger), manage multiple user profiles, switch to full screen mode, as well as use undo and redo functions. Additional features of Portable SeaMonkey allow you to set up an email account, newsgroup accounts, or blogs and news feeds, as well as manage an address book and access an IRC chat, among others.
The software suite is very responsive, requires a high amount of system resources and comes with a comprehensive help file for all user levels. We have not come across any problems during our tests; Portable SeaMonkey did not freeze, crash or pop up error dialogs.
