Portable TagScanner is a tool that you can use to edit the ID3 tags of your MP3 audio tracks in a user-friendly environment.
Since installation is not required, you can simply place Portable TagScanner on a removable drive, plug it into any computer and directly run its executable file. Plus, there will be no changes made to your Windows registry keys.
The interface of the program is clean and intuitive. Music files can be imported via the file browser or "drag and drop" method. Batch processing is supported.
So, you can play songs, adjust the volume and set the new format of the file name. In addition, you can restructure the files based on tag information and trim their names.
Furthermore, you can transform text (e.g. change case, standard values, transliteration), edit tags, use a search function, create a list, import and export covers, rename files, and more.
The simple-to-use and lightweight application runs on a low-to-moderate amount of system resources, includes a brief help file with snapshots for rookies, has a very good response time and worked flawlessly during our tests. We haven't come across any kind of difficulties and highly recommend Portable TagScanner to all users, whether they are beginners or experienced.
