Putty Enhanced is an intuitive yet comprehensive interface for the Putty suite of SSH-dedicated tools.
It includes a UI that incorporates elements of all six Putty applications including PUTTY, PLINK, PSCP, PSFTP, PUTTYGEN and PAGEANT.
It allows the user to send custom arguments to the programs and “pipe” the output of the program back to the user interface, eliminating the need to run the command-line-only programs via a command prompt.
It includes a "Pipe Commands" option designed to run the program of your selection in silent mode and "pipe" the output of the program to the user interface. This gives you the ability to use the user interface to pass on several arguments to the desired application.
It also includes a commonly used arguments section where you can simply enter common variables such as username, password, server, port in a text box and run the desired program using these arguments.
This software also includes an enhanced version of PLINK which supports the following command line argument add-ons: The -ng option disables all GSSAPI extensions.
The -f option flags the Kerberos ticket as forwardable. The -k spn option can be used to specify the target Service Principal Name. The -use_vintela_gui_w_pwd option will prompt for all PuTTY-based input in a dialog box rather than from the command window.
The -use_vintela_gui_no_pwd option will prompt for all input in dialogs except for the password. The -hide_console option is useful when calling X-Windows based applications as it will cause the created Command Prompt window to be hidden.
The -auto_store_key_in_cache switch will bypass the “Store key in cache” dialog, saving it automatically. Putty Enhanced also supports opening multiple sessions in order to initiate multiple connections from multiple user interfaces
