nagstamon is a software utility developed to keep track of your server hosts and it is placed on the desktop screen as a floating status bar.
It has been created in order to inform you in realtime about the status of your hosts and services. It allows to connect to multiple Nagios and Opsview servers.
The statusbar automatically updates and shows a quick summary and a more descriptive status overview when moving your pointer over it. The status is indicated by different customizable colors for down/unreachable hosts and warning/critical/unknown services. Additionally it displays hosts'/services' status with icons if there are any special flags like "acknowledged", "downtime", "flapping" and "passive".
