SocialFolders enables you to sync your social sites with your computer. That means that you will be able to store and manage all the photos, documents and other files that today are spread across multiple online websites.
This program allows you to manage your files even if you are not connected to the Internet.
And it works in both directions: if you want to upload a large set of photos to a website, just drop it into the associated folder and SocialFolders will do it for you - no more waiting time in front of your browser.
If you connect to multiple sites, SocialFolders will also make copying them from one website to another very easy. Instead of downloading and uploading again, you will be able to copy your files directly between your folders, and SocialFolders will do the same in the Cloud between the two websites.
SocialFolders allows you to upload files much quicker than the usual way. You don't have to pick files one-by-one or wait in front of your browser for the upload to be completed.
Currently, SocialFolders supports Facebook, Flickr, Photobucket, Google Docs, Box, YouTube, Twitter, SmugMug, Instagram, and Picasa.
Limitations:
· You can connect to maximum three services and manage up to 2.000 files.
What's New in This Release:
Friends Sync:
· SocialFolders makes it now easy and seamless for you to access the social content that matters to you (think of that album on your friends’ profile of your group trip to Rome) while respecting the privacy settings of your friends across all applicable social services. Friends’ content is now available for Facebook, Flickr, Twitter and Instagram – without having to invite your friends to SocialFolders. We will extend this capability to other services soon.
Versioning support for Google Docs:
· Users can connect with Google Docs, work on documents offline, and SocialFolders will automatically sync the changes back to Google Docs in the form of new revisions in that doc.
New services:
· SocialFolders now integrates with Twitter and SmugMug, on top of Instagram, Facebook, Flickr, Picasa, Photobucket, Box, Google Docs, and YouTube.
Facebook Photos I’m tagged in:
· You can now download automatically in a dedicated folder all the Facebook photos where you’re tagged.
