Similar to StrongDC++, ApexDC++ is a file sharing/peer to peer Windows software. Its architecture makes it possible to share files in Direct Connect networks via two protocols, namely NDMC and ADC.
While most people resort to torrent clients as a way to download and upload data, ApexDC++ has quickly developed a fan-base due to the fact that it is simpler to use and relies on a different type of sharing algorithm, considerably more advantageous in terms of transfer speeds.
The installation process does not pose major problems and it’s not time consuming either. During deployment, ApexDC++ offers you the possibility to install some additional components which are either fun (emoticons) or functional (GeoIP Database). Selecting all options is recommendable if you want to test the software to its fullest.
