DU Meter is a powerful network tool that displays network data transfer rates and creates comprehensive reports on virtually all types of networks.
Showing network traffic in real time, DU Meter includes a powerful logging tool that allows it to generate hourly, daily, weekly and monthly reports comprising incoming and outgoing traffic. Additionally, it offers professional-looking charts to help you keep an eye on network transfers, but also multiple display modes to assist you in this regard.
With an easy to navigate interface, the application sports a fully customizable floating window that shows network traffic. Besides the fact that users can choose between three different graph types (area, line and bar), there are also three available modes: one graph, two separate graphs and two separate graphs with the zero line between them.
Fully optimized for Windows 7, DU Meter integrates a specially designed toolbar in the TaskBar, keeping you up to date with incoming and outgoing traffic in real time.
The application is pretty easy to configure, and although it comprises a very detailed settings screen, it also comes with a well-organized wizard to assist you throughout the whole process.
The “Options” menu however allows you to filter traffic by IP address or network adapter and customize the traffic monitor graph and window, colors and sounds, data transfer costs and email notifications.
DU Meter works with local area networks, as well as with phone modems, DSL, cable modems, satellite, and many others.
You can also set up alarms to be informed when certain traffic milestones are reached; in addition, it features a stopwatch to monitor total transferred data, the maximum, the average and the current transfer rate.
Overall, DU Meter is one of the best tools of its kind and it comes not only with a user friendly approach, but also with support for a wide array of operating systems.

· Change in functionality: The less frequently used functions of DU Meter pop-up menu are demoted to a secondary (alternative) menu. It can be accessed by holding the SHIFT key while opening the pop-up menu.
· Improved performance and better error reporting.
· Numerous bug fixes and minor enhancements.
