The program has been designed as general software for security cross platforms running all together with wireless and wired IP cameras, TV-cards, capture boards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the similar form and controls on the local and remote pcs. Customers see MPEG-4 coded video and have full control of the software via net that surveillance station can be operated without screen, keyboard, and mouse connected. Program`s modular structure extensively improves reliability because all modules proceed as autonomous software. If one module stops working, other parts go on working. For instance if the `capture` module freezes, `watchdog` starts again it right away that viewers don`t notice anything because they are viewing video using a `playback` component. The software makes `cyclic` recording that the `disk full` situation never appears. The recording can be non-stop or it can be initiated by motion, human face recognition, or by schedule. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance server as well as on apart server via Web interface. The program performs synchronized video playback for event analysis from multiple cameras concurrently. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded information can be encrypted and password protected.
