The program has been designed as common application for security hybrid platforms working at the same time with wireless and wired Internet webcams, TV-cards, capture cards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the same form and controls on the local and apart pcs. Users view MPEG-4 coded picture and have full management of the software via network that security workstation can be operated without screen, keyboard, and mouse attached. Program`s modular composition considerably improves reliability because all units act as autonomous applications. If one component freezes, other units continue working. For instance if the `record` part freezes, `watchdog` starts again it instantly that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching video using a `playback` part. The program performs `repeated` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never appears. The recording can be non-stop or it can be initiated by movement, human face detection, or by schedule. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance station as well as on apart pc via Web interface. The program does synchronized video playback for event examination from multiple cameras concurrently. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded information can be encrypted and password protected.
