The software has been designed as general product for surveillance cross platforms running concurrently with wireless and wired Internet webcams, Television-boards, capture boards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the equal appearance and functionality on the local and distant pcs. Users watch MPEG coded video and have full management of the program through net that surveillance pc can be operated without monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected. Program`s modular composition drastically boosts reliability because all components act as autonomous software. If one module freezes, other parts go on running. For example if the `record` module freezes, `watchdog` starts again it immediately that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching picture through a `playback` part. The software does `repeated` recording that the `disk full` situation never happens. The recording can be constant or it can be triggered by movement, human face recognition, or by timetable. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance pc as well as on apart computer using Web interface. The program does synchronized video playback for event examination from multiple webcams concurrently. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded information can be encrypted and password protected.
