With NeoDownloader you can download content from any website. So, it's not a reference to "The Matrix" in any way.
The program comes with a clean and intuitive interface. Once you initiate the "New Project Wizard", you can input the starting URL, project title, username and password (if it's required) and optionally enable to manually log in.
Then you can select one from the several listed templates (e.g. download single or multiple galleries with pictures and movies, all MP3 files, ZIP and EXE files), after which you can immediately start the project and/or open advanced properties.
In "Advanced Settings" you can enable replication of the website's folder structure, enter multiple starting URLs and configure scan settings (e.g. set the number of scan depth levels, enable to download linked files from other websites or to scan linked pages from other websites).
But you can also select the file format types to download (e.g. JPEG, GIF, PNG, TIFF, BMP, ICO, audio and video files), ignore URLs that contain specific keywords, scan only webpages that contain specific keywords, set size filters, as well as configure a custom parser.
In the main interface, you can view downloaded files and the URL status, as well as preview images. But you can also create favorites, configure a preview filter, shrink images to fit the window, set video zoom, set wallpapers, and more.
The program comes with a help file, finishes a project in a reasonable amount of time, uses a moderate amount of system resources and runs in the background while you're busy with other processes.
We haven't encountered any errors during our tests and NeoDownloader is simple to use by both novices and experts. We strongly recommend it.
