Nightowl is an easy to use, handy, accessible IRC client specially designed to aid the blind and visually impaired. It offers auditive support for the most important actions.
· The ability to connect to an IRC server (no multi-server support)
· The ability to join a channel (only one channel for now)
· The ability to use basic IRC actions, such as emotes, nick completion, op, deop, kick, ban.
· Basic support for message logging (transcripts)
· Automatic speech output for popular screen readers (Jaws, Window Eyes, System Access, NVDA)

· The ability to review the ten last received messages (Including system messages) and copy them to the clipboard.
