DMDirc is a cross platform IRC client written in java, and being developed by Chris 'MD87' Smith, Shane 'Dataforce' Mc Cormack and Greg 'Greboid' Holmes.
DMDirc was started to address the lack of a good IRC client, it can however be run on any java capable platform.
While there are plenty of reasonable clients, most are lacking in one respect or another and hopefully DMDirc will fill this gap.

Actions system:
· Execute commands when certain events happen, without using a scripting language
