The installation goes smoothly, and you can get to the main window of the application and start downloading the videos you choose. First of all, you need to specify the URL of the clip you want to download, no matter if it comes from YouTube, Dailymotion, Facebook, Vimeo, MySpace, Break.TV, Megavideo or other similar platforms.
Once you have settled on the video you like best, you are required to specify the destination folder, then select the output format you prefer – depending on the device you want to play the videos on, you can choose between FLV, AVI, MPEG, MP4, WMV, MOV, MP4, 3GP or 3G2. You also get the possibility to adjust the quality of the output file.
save2pc can also be used when you want to extract only the audio stream of a certain clip to MP3 or WAV, so you can play it on your portable MP3 player or on your cellphone.
If you want to connect to the Internet via a proxy server, you need to enter its details in the appropriate window of the application to make sure it functions properly.
