Desktop Stopwatch is a handy and reliable application designed to enable you to time your activities.
The stopwatch is a clock which can be used for measuring the time interval between two events, the time you have spent for a project on your computer, to check how fast a program runs or anything else you can think of. You can start the timing pressing the button "Start". The precision is in centiseconds.
When you press the button "Stop", the stopwatch takes the time from the computer timer, which is more precise from the time on the screen, so the question of the precission is related only to the problem how fast you can press the buttons.
The measured time interval can be up to 99 hours. There are two other auxiliary buttons on the screen, "Reset" to help you to prepare for the timing phsycologically and "Hide" - to hide the stopwatch in Windows System Tray and continue working on the screen while measuring longer periods of time.
The stopwatch is a very light and fast windows application - only 67KB. It requires no decompression and no installation after the download. Once you run it in a standart way like any windows .EXE file, it will pop up on the screen where you can start the stopwatch with a click of a button or you can hide it as an icon in the system tray.
You can show it up again at any time by double click or by right click at the icon to see the stopwatch menu. From the menu you can select couple of options, which are clear by their names - to show or hide the stopwatch, to show or hide the centiseconds or to exit the stopwatch application.
Moving the cursor with mouse over the system tray icon will show you the state, which is helpfull when the stopwatch is hidden. The state could be ON, OFF or STOPPED.
If the stopwatch is visible and you click with the right button on the black display, where the green digits are shown, you will see the menu again. Or, if you press the left button when the curson is on the Stopwatch display and move the mouse, you can reposition it on the screen.
