As you may find out just by reading its name, Analogue Vista Clock is a very simple application that places an analog clock on your desktop.
With no less than six skins included in the package, the program provides a moderate amount of configuration options, although this is clearly one of the most important features of such an app.
Supposed to be placed anywhere on the screen, Analogue Vista Clock comes with a decent settings menu that let you choose the position on the desktop, with several predefined options included in the package.
What’s more, you can adjust the clock size and transparency, two settings that are supposed to help you make sure that it perfectly fits your desktop.
With a dedicated option to show date, display second hand and play a sound on full hour, Analogue Vista Clock also integrates an alarm utility that lets you configure the alarm time, days and the sound file to be played.
It comprises a so-called “gradual wake”, which is more like a feature that automatically increases the volume of the alarm sound until you press the stop button.
As you can see, Analogue Vista Clock isn’t quite a complex feature and although some people could find it useless, the program still boasts several important customization options.
Overall, Analogue Vista Clock is a nice desktop clock that doesn’t affect system performance at all and works just fine on all Windows versions. It comprises a handy alarm utility and several skins to better fit your desktop.
