Photo Snap is a tool that allows you to view, edit and manage image files, in an easy manner.
The interface of the program is simple and intuitive, thanks to the Explorer-based layout. When it comes to importing an image to the viewer, the "drag and drop" method is not supported, unfortunately.
Thus, you can use stretch, magnify, resize, brightness, contrast, rotate, flip, crop, invert, gamma and resolution tools.
You can also remove red eye, draw, add text and shapes, as well as apply effects (e.g. posterize, mosaic, average, median, sharpen, noise, oil paint).
In addition, you can filter pictures, videos, music, documents and ZIP files, change the viewing mode (toggle between document and text) and apply image filters (e.g. emboss, gradient, line segment), as well as copy, move, rename, delete or compress pictures.
Furthermore, you can create a photo album, video or music playlist, send pictures via email, convert images, use the "Undo" button, get pictures and media on the Internet, set interface colors, as well as configure general options (e.g. set thumbnail height and width, adjust JPG quality).
The program takes up a moderate to high amount of system resources, includes a comprehensive help file and didn't freeze, crash or pop up errors during our tests. Batch mode is supported when it comes to the copy, move, rename and convert functions.
Perhaps the interface could be improved a little regarding its appearance. Other than that, we recommend Photo Snap to users of any experience level.
