If you want to record what’s happening on your computer screen or create videos, then you can do so easily with the help of BSR Screen Recorder.
This app can perform various actions and comes with a bundle of features. The software has a modular architecture, which means that you can fire up three different and independent apps: “Screen Recorder”, “Movie Lab” and “Movie Studio”.
By choosing the Screen Recorder, you can fiddle with a wide range of settings. So, you can capture a region of the screen, a window, the entire screen, multiple regions or have the recorder “follow” your mouse cursor. Furthermore, audio recording settings can be configured. A date, time, watermark and subtitles can also be added to the video.
Advanced users can then customize compression options, as well as choose the capture speed and dimension of the video. Various hotkeys can also be set.
However, you can also take screenshots of your active windows; the images are immediately saved to your computer, thus bypassing traditional methods.
The Movie Lab allows you to edit and crop videos, add objects, as well as apply effects, transitions and text. You can either create new projects or open existing ones.
Also, you can perform a few actions by accessing the Movie Studio. All in all, BSR Screen Recorder is a great tool, with a nice interface. The intuitive layout should help less experienced users to find their way around this app, but most features clearly require advanced knowledge of similar software.
