Aid4Mail Console is a lightweight utility that runs using the command console and allows you to convert and migrate e-mail mesages.
The program supports multiple output formats, including mbox, moz, eml, mht, xls, dbs, pst or msg. Some extra conversion options are available. For instance, you can keep only the message text and / or formatting or extract only the attachments, without the message content.
Limitations:
· Processing is limited to a maximum of 50 messages per mail folder
· When exporting to the MHT format, the limit is 10 messages per mail folder
· A numbered trial tag is added to the subject line of processed messages
What's New in This Release:
· Improved error recovery when accessing Exchange servers via IMAP.
· Apple Mail folder names are now correctly formatted on export.
· Added a count for blank email messages in the final conversion report. They are always skipped because they have no header and no body.
· Added a workaround that fixes emails corrupted on delivery by Dovecot servers using IMAP.
· Fixed non-working “Header-based MD5 File Names” menu command.
Aid4Mail Console: Enhanced the SessionName option. When used, Aid4Mail saves a text file with conversion statistics; the file name is based on the session name. The text file is saved in the program folder unless the session name includes a folder name to another location. The folder name can include tokens and system variables. Examples:
· SessionName=Account072
· SessionName="%AllUsersProfile%Aid4Mail MigrationAccount 072"
· Other minor improvements and glitches fixed.
