Workshare Professional 7.0 is designed to be a secure, reliable and beneficial program which is seamlessly integrated with Microsoft Office and simplifies document collaboration by enhancing Microsoft Office features for sharing and reviewing documents.

  1. Compare Documents and PDFs For Changes and Accuracy:
    • Advanced PDF and Document Comparison:
      • Compare one document against multiple modified versions or revisions within context of one another. Workshare Professional utilizes an industry - leading document comparison engine to excel at long and complex documents as well as comparing auto-numbered paragraphs, font changes and complicated formatting, even in tables.
    • Compare One Document to Multiple Versions:
      • Compare more than two documents at one time including comparing Word-to-Word, PDF-to-PDF, and Word to text-based PDF. Reduce document errors as you identify all document changes including edits made to embedded objects, images and Excel tables.
    • Comparison of Embedded Excel Tables:
      • You can now accurately compare Microsoft Excel tables that are embedded in Microsoft Word documents.
    • Image Comparison:
      • Workshare Professional's comparison functionality now includes the comparison of images. After running a comparison you will see whether an image has been modified, deleted or inserted.
  2. Collaborate Through Shared Document Reviews:
    • Manage and Track Document Reviews:
      • Give authors, delegates and reviewers an easy means to assemble, review, and verify document changes as they work in parallel on the same document. The document master, review copy, and modified versions are visible at every stage of the document lifecycle, all without changing the way you work within your email and Microsoft applications.
    • Manage Edits and Changes:
      • A synchronized 3-pane view allows you to manage changes from multiple documents at the same time. Utilize Workshare change functionality, or Microsoft Track Changes, to manage comments and accept/reject PDF and Word document changes.
    • Automatic Alert and Compare of Modified:
      • Attachments New

      • Risk detection runs in the background and alerts you to potential security risks and allows you to remove hidden content or metadata prior to PDF conversion.

      • Receive alerts for password-protected documents, zipped documents, and documents with restricted editing rights that contain metadata.
