Keeping track of numerous software packages can be confusing and overwhelming. Software Tracker program can help you to catalog and organize your software media inventory. The program is designed to be easy to use with most of the functions and data visible on the main screen. To the left is a list of your software for easy browsing of the packages. As you select or highlight a software entry the data fields are displayed for easy entry or editing. A picture of the software (the box or CD cover for example), is displayed as well. Data fields for Software Tracker including Revision, Title, Installation Date, Location, Serial Number, Supplier, Category, Warranty, Support, User, and more. Each of these can be customized for your inventory. Once customized the name of the field changes through the program including the print outs. Larger text fields are available for information such as installation procedures or tech support contacts or system requirements. Other Software Tracker features include sorted custom and standard reports, a search the database function, help, and exporting of data to a .csv file for use in other software organizers.
