Reconciliation on Fire 2.16 description
Reconciliation on Fire is an useful tool that can compare two data ranges from one or more Excel files in order to find the differences. It is designed to automate the checking process when you need to compare large data sheets.
It is recommended for the users that compare bank data files or other types of data that can be exported as worksheets and opened in Microsoft Excel. This tool is a macro that needs to be opened with Excel as well as the files that you want to compare.
What's New in This Release:
· Faster
· Easier to Use
· It is much better at comparing numbers that are formatted as text.
There are now options:
· Round numbers to two digits so it comparison is more accurate
· If two sets of numbers have opposite signs (negative of the other), you can change the sign on one set so that comparisons are accurate
· You can compare the absolute value of both sides so all signs are removed (not recommended for most cases).
· Numbers that are 10 digits without formatting can be ignored if they are considered to be phone numbers.
· Text can be easily ignored.
