Depeche View Lite is an application that will help you load, view and search all text of a directory tree in one window.
Search a phrase just by clicking on it. Fly through results by the turn of your mousewheel. Copy text, and create bookmarks with the same ease. If you have to read through many small ASCII text files, e.g. source code, this tool allows text analysis at extreme speeds.
For example, to search a word, forget about opening a dialogue, setting options, clicking through results lists to open one result file after another. No, just type the word - and land within the first matching line in the first matching file, instantly. Then, if you see another word of interest, don't even type it - click on it! And again, you will land at the first match for this word, instantly, no matter in what file.
Depeche View Lite is a Windows tools, but also runs on Linux systems having WINE installed. Depeche View Lite is free for private use, and runs without installation (portable executable).

What's New in This Release:
· CHG: MAJOR CHANGE IN DEFAULT BEHAVIOUR: AutoFilter mode is now active by default, because filtered views are basically the same as a search result list in every editor, and common practice. In AutoFilter mode, filter button no longer shows an "A", as this is now default. Instead, disabling AutoFilter now shows three dots on the filter button.
· CHG: USAGE CHANGE: SHIFT+Cursor and CONTROL+Cursor: SHIFT+CursorDown/Up now ALWAYS scrolls fast through the text, no matter if search term is given or not. CONTROL+CursorDown/Up no longer cycles view contents but jumps to next/previous search result. To cycle view contents, CONTROL+CursorLeft/Right can still be used, or the new button at right top.
