Requirements: Java 1.5
What's new in this version: MyTunesRSS REST service added. Please migrate your client applications. The existing JSON-RPC and XML-RPC APIs will be removed in the next version. The RemoteControlService, TagService and EditPlaylistService have already been removed. Completely dropped special PSP support. Added HTML IMG references to RSS feeds and removed the yahoo media tag. Make default jukeboxes editable and restorable. Option to ignore timestamps on database update has been removed. When manually updating the database you can select the data sources you want to update and also select whether or not to ignore timestamps. Optionally select a single network interface to listen on. Customizable RSS feed description message. Option to show or hide the OpenID login form. VLC is now used for transcoding, server local playback (remote control feature) and HTTP live streaming. No other transcoders like FFmpeg can be configured anymore. If you already have VLC installed in a default location, MyTunesRSS should automatically find it. Option for maximum number of search results (default is 250) in web settings. Search results are much better now. Smart playlist criteria have been redesigned. Fallback name configuration for tracks title. You can explicitly exclude certain data sources from a user. You database will be refreshed automatically on the first start of MyTunesRSS 4.3 due to some internal changes. This may take a while. Individual permissions for music, movie and TV shows per user. Display logged in user name in user interface on the portal page. Optional "Stop-Port" to stop a running server via command line. Use command line option "-shutdownPort 12345" to enable the shutdown listener and use command line option "-shutdown 12345" to stop an instance running on the same machine with the specified shutdown port. Using the "-shutdown" option will just try to stop another instance, it will not start MyTunesRSS itself.
